This custom new build had to meet two major criteria - be fully green / sustainable and provide a calm place to land for a busy, high-performing executive. This meant keeping the palette neutral and warm, utilizing natural and raw materials that were eco-friendly and didn't off-gas, and layering-in antique and well-worn pieces that would continue to get better with time. Working in tandem with the architect and builder, we provided design guidance from the very beginning. From maximizing the floor plan and layout to designing the custom windows and doors, we oversaw every last detail ensuring the end-result had a cohesive through-line that exceeded the client's expectations.
