Lovely Larch
Wenham, MA
This circa-1700's farmhouse had lovely bones, but felt too traditional and expected for these fun, cool, music-loving clients. They needed help creating better functionality in the long, narrow rooms, and wanted a result that was layered and dimensional. We split the spaces into multiple zones, mixed antique and modern furnishings, and added a wall of drapery to disguise off-center windows in the bedroom. The new spaces feel very hip, but family-friendly performance fabrics and metal tables (to discourage their mischievous pup from chewing!) mean this space can truly be enjoyed by all.
